Jed is a genuine listener, relationship builder and a gifted problem solver, with a welcoming personality and an in-depth information gathering approach. He excels at turning strategy into action as the firm’s CEO.

Jed began his career in the banking industry and realized early on that sitting behind a computer and crunching numbers did not fulfill his passion and purpose. His decision to pursue executive recruiting and professional placement seemed a natural fit.

In 2006, he went to work for a national recruiting firm and fell in love with the industry. It is also where he met his future Grayson Search partners. Jed has successfully placed hundreds of Finance and Accounting professionals during his career, including CFOs, controllers, mid-level managers and staff. For Jed, it’s all about cultivating a different experience for his candidates and clients. If there’s a problem, his direct phone number is printed on his business card. He is responsive and accountable to those he serves.

Jed graduated from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign with a BS degree in finance. When he is not working, he enjoys reading, cooking, working out and time spent with friends and family.
